Memoir

Joe 'no middle name' Granato is a long-distance optimist with a love for surfing, meditation, karaoke, pseudo self-help audio books, nutritional dogma, and abstract goal-setting methods. As a child he was the recipient of multiple non-notable awards in the fields of kite making, pumpkin carving, and billiard pool. He once performed on the same stage as The Beach Boys, on a totally different night.

Raised a Philadelphian, his work is celebrated much like the Super Bowl champion Eagles team, not by trophies, but by a cocktail of nihilistic despair tinged with unfounded confidence. As an Italian, he believes that pasta is best enjoyed under a dusty framed photo of a young Frank Sinatra. Finally, as a self-proclaimed 'chill dude', he holds a firm belief that true enlightenment resides somewhere between a third margarita and the guitar solo to "Hotel California".
